DON'T BE AFRAID MATE. Trust me, if you like her, ignore everyone else, as long as you are happy. Yea, you might loose some friends along the way, but that doesn't mean you can't make new friends. If what you say is true about her ex, than he should understand and respect that decision you've made. Trust me. I went through this entire situation like you did, but from the opposite point of view. Me and my ex broke up like 3 months ago, and my good friend, who's sister is best friends with my ex, knew each other longer than she knew me. And they eventually started going out. I didn't get pissed. It was over and I like the guy. He's my friend after all. Now if it was a total douche, thats when things get little itchy, Hoped I help you out mate. Terrible advice. If you're still in high school, then just cool it. You've got the rest of your life to do it right, but it doesn't take much to screw it all up :p. Btw, I liked your submission on the NG Sketchbook Tour, which directed me to this.. :D!!
